What is Anime?

Anime is a Japanese style of animation that includes shows and movies. It is normally characterized by highly styalized, colorful art usually set in avarious settings and environments. They often contain elaborate and moving plot lines. There are many different genres and styles of anime, ranging from light-hearted comedy to gripping drama. It is different from American cartoons. Anime is not just for kids: you can find something for every single age group. No matter what kinds of shows you enjoy there is and anime for you.
